How does it work?

The calculation is based on the Body Mass Index (BMI) and Waist-to-Hip Ratio (WHR). Excess weight and especially fat accumulation around the waist (visceral fat) are associated with an increased risk of metabolic diseases, which mathematically "adds" years to you.
